Finding Out Test Results and Data!

Okay, so I asked Lynn today--"Will you give us reports on the LA test results or do we have to do it ourselves through Schoolnet?" Guess what her answer was...., you got it..."SCHOOLNET!!!" I love you, Lynn, and I am glad that are forcing me to be a Schoolnet navigator.
I have figured out how to get to the test results and plan on playing with some different features. If I find anything super great---I'll let you know. I'll probably let you know what I find regardless.
If anyone has navigated through these trenches and can offer enlightenment, please comment.
Good luck and Godspeed...Anne

  1. I am so thankful for the ones who have an open mind and know times are changing. In the old days (this includes me), we taught children facts, focused on rote memorization and tested. If they passed, they passed. If not, move on! Some of us never gave up on making sure all students learned by whatever way it took. Now, we teach children to be creative as well as critical thinkers, innovators, effective communicators and to be globally aware of our whole world while being independent citizens. We must now make sure all children pass and not let any slip through the cracks.

  2. I love how you can go as far as looking at the actual question a student missed, not just the objective. No more flipping through the pages of a test booklet or obscure data I am not sure what to do with.

  3. I have been there and checked it out. I may need some help figuring out how to print a report so I can see all of a student's responses in one glance rather than scrolling back and forth. I didn't have much time to play with it, so will go back and do more. If anyone knows how to do that, let me know!
